Thanos
Thanos was born on Titan, a moon of Saturn. His mother Sui-San was a member of the Eternals, an evolutionary offshoot of humanity that possesses great cosmic power. Thanos’ father Zuras was their leader at that time. When Thanos was still an infant, his father decided that he would be a threat to his rule, so he had him exiled from Titan. Thanos grew up on various worlds across space, where he became fixated on death and destruction. He eventually returned to Titan, where he unsuccessfully tried to court Death itself, which further fuelled his obsession with eradicating all life from existence.
Thanos began amassing vast amounts of weaponry and technology with which to achieve his goal and soon came into conflict with several superheroes, including Thor, Captain America and Iron Man, among others.
