In addition Perl has been around for a long time which means there is an extensive amount of documentation available online as well as a large number of modules which can be downloaded from CPAN (the Comprehensive Perl Archive Network). This makes it easy for developers to find solutions to problems they encounter while working with the language.
In terms of salary levels perl programmers tend to be paid relatively well compared to those working in other languages. According to data from PayScale the average salary for a perl programmer in the United States is $79K per year with salaries ranging from $50K – $110K+. Of course this will vary depending on factors such as experience level, location, and company size but overall perl programmers tend to earn above average incomes.
IOS Swift. Swift is likely to be the most important language that has been released in recent years
